Field Notes

Description:

About 4 cm long. Completely covered in short hairs, alternating in a band of black, then brown, then black again.

Habitat:

We found him on some wildflowers near a large ditch in the park. This is one of the smallest I have ever seen - usually they are a little longer and thicker.
