You're very welcome! I've lived up and down the west coast and Colorado and I've also never seen this bird. Great find and photo!
Thanks for the ID, Cindy. According to Wikipedia, they breed in Africa and South America, and are migratory. Personally I have never seen them wild in this part of the world.
