Field Notes

Description:

**1 1/2" green, reddish, or light brown, with dark brown spots, irregular stripes; brown stripe from nostril to eye; yellowish below. Skin rough. Toes lack webbing. A commonly heard, active frog. Voice: high musical kee-eek. Active both day and nite.

Habitat:

Rocks, shrubs near water. All of california below 11000 feet

Notes:

He lives in my pole bean plants (which are well watered)

I love where he lives. Is he yellow because you needed to use flash?
