Species ID Suggestions

Great Gray Owl

Strix nebulosa

It's too big and round-headed to be a Screech-Owl. To begin with it is a downy juvenile so it doesn't have adult plumage. The large rounded head suggests Great Gray Owl or Spotted Owl (both in the genus Strix). The long tail makes me believe that it is a Great Gray Owl (Strix nebulosa).
Well, it's an owl :-) But I'm not sure anyone can tell which. Hope you find out!
