Large Rabbit like animal with long legs becoming threatened by agricultural mono cropping and encroachment of housing developments

Habitat:

Large open fields with hedges and copse like woodland nearby - Hares have an above ground nest called a "Form"

Notes:

Hunted by rich tourists in some parts of the UK
