Description:

Multicolored moth with light underwings and striped abdomen. It camouflages well on the ground.

Habitat:

Ground near Silver Creek Falls. "It is found from British Columbia, south through Washington to northern California. It is also found in Oregon and possibly western Nevada." - Wikipedia

Its a clear good picture.. If possible crop it and show zoomed image as separate one.

Also important is to recognize its larvae's feeder plant. Also important to note plants where this moth stops or lands.

Thank you Ashish. After searching, the closest underwing moth I could find is the allusa. I hope it's correct!
