Field Notes

Description:

Small brown/black backed toad found hopping around in the wet understory of a thick hardwood/pine forest. Had several dark patches on his back with a white stomach.

Habitat:

Found at George L. Smith State Park in a wet understory area.

Notes:

Apparently my camera decided this was no ordinary toad and gave him a halo. For the record, toads do not usually glow :)
