Species ID Suggestions

Lesser Adjutant

Leptoptilos javanicus

Comments (2)

After some digging I suggest this : Greater Adjutant Leptoptilos dubius is one of the most endangered stork species found in the world, and its known population is less than 1000 (BirdLife International, 2001).This bird is in tremendous pressure for its survival due to various reasons and mainly because of overall habitat shrinkage.
did you take a shot of the whole bird too? it would be nice to present the whole bird and then a close up that way people get to know what the whole bird looks like.
