Field Notes

Description:

Tall duck with Orange bill and legs. Tan head with brown crown and brown body. White in middle of wings with black tips and belly.

Habitat:

Marsh. Wetlands. Ponds. South Louisiana. (Not sure if year round but have seen during breeding months in South Louisiana almost always with chicks.)

Notes:

Spotted 3 adults and 10 chicks.
