Very neat. Were there any still blooming so you figure out which mallow? Leaves can be a 'give away' too.

It is indeed the mallow without the petals, just the reproductive bits. I thought it was neat.

a mallow (hibiscus) after the petals have fallen away? May be a stretch but...

I really question whether that is a Hibiscus. It has none of the normal characteristics and Green??
