Field Notes

Description:

Small 10"-13" plant, leaves heart-shaped and opposite, covered in tiny spines (flowers also seem to have some), flowers bell-shaped, pink, spotted with scarlet and orange, very aromatic unpleasant smell, (rotting / herb type smell?), covered in a wispy froth of hairs some mostly likely from other plants although they seem to be OF the plant itself.

Habitat:

Roadside, gravel, hard soil

Notes:

One of the more beautiful "weeds" if it is infact a weed, that i've spotted.
