Field Notes

Notes:

The gray squirrels normally stay in a plot of woods north of our apartment. This is the first one to venture in our yard since we moved in a year ago. Saw this guy eating some of the food we left out for the fox squirrels in the area. When a fox squirrel saw this gray eating his food, he spent a few minutes trying to scare off this little grey, who wasnt bothered by the show at all. Finally the fox squirrel gave up and they sat within a foot of eachother eating for a few minutes. I couldnt get to my phone in time to get a photo of both.
