Description:

I found this beautiful red beetle hiding in a plant .I was taking pictures at a place called Experimental Farm in Ottawa, Canada.

Habitat:

Don't know.

Thank you for your help, actually I found the name the other day in a book and I forgot to add it. Is interesting with insects because I love them in one side but I also understand how destructive they can be, is a little bit like us, humans.
Destructive and can wipe out a garden of lilies in a season! ( I don't know why my post was broken up...sorry)
If it is indeed a red lily beetle, they are incredibly destictivep
