Description:

perennial.corm-like rhizome,stem simple,glabrous.leaves alternate,few palmately lobed and deeply cleft.Flowers 3-5,open racemes,irregular,2-4cm in diameter,sepals 5,petaloid,upper sepal hood shaped enclosing 2 petals,hooked at apex,follicles erect1.5-2cm long

Habitat:

Moist meadows and thickets. Amphi-Beringian

Notes:
