Description:

Tall green plant, possibly a weed found in a small field.

Habitat:

Dry chaparral area, little water.

Notes:

Certainly looks like a leaf found in my salad!! Not quite sure what it is though.

The closest I've been able to get to this spotting is an edible plant called Chenopodium album L. This is not very likely to be the correct ID, but maybe it could be found on a site similar to this?: http://www.herbvideos.com/ewpindex.htm#Lamb's%20Quarters,
