Description:

Lovely female specimen, one of many this season. Fighting with monarch for territory.

Habitat:

Back yard flower garden, coneflower.

I've been seeing a few of these around but they have been impossible to photograph. Makes you really appreciate a clear shot like this. I really like the polyphemus moth in your profile pic.
The 2-tailed appears to have 3 tails, at least in this pic http://www.mariposasmexicanas.com/papilio_pterourus_m_multicaudata.htm
I like the two tailed Tiger Pterourus multicaudatus? fits area ok
