Field Notes

Habitat:

During migration and winter, they forage on beaches but will also use mudflats. Sanderlings nest in the High Arctic on gravel patches and low-growing, wet tundra.

Notes:

The Sanderlings were again here out in force. Enjoyed them for quite a while as they darted back and forth collecting food from the Sargassum that was being washed up.
