I also use http://zipcodezoo.com/ for searching base on location/ISP : ... and on the 48 species of Aulacophora genus, i try to search & see one by one... and woow! they looks very similar for me.. :))
This one is not Scarlet lily beetle. You accurately reached at Aulacophora sp.
AshishNimkar.., I don't know the identity of the insect in the photo, and i try search on gooogle, there are many foto that similar to this yellow-bug, they named cucumber beetle, or cucurbit leaf beetle, squash beetle etc...! and I also see many for "Scarlet Lily beetle" that looks more red with black head. and i read on wikipedia, that mention the "Scarlet Lily beetle" is quite dependent on the presence of lilies plant.
Check also aulacophora femoralis
Isn't it Scarlet Lily beetle...?
