Description:

Lizard with brown and black markings

Habitat:

Dry warm climate. Was in the backyard sunning itself and chasing flies on some lave rock (brought in for a fire pit).

Notes:

Some subspecies of the Sceloporus occidentalis

Keep in mind that the blue typically shows up only in males in that Genus
I think you're right Mitch. Although I couldn't see blue on the belly (was flat the entire time), I suspect it's a subspecies of the Sceloporus occidentalis. Thank you both for your help!
