Description:

This is an edible fruit I found in Yucatan Peninsula, it has many small seeds inside and is very sweet. Taste more or less like papaya.

At first look I thought its "Balimbing" (starfruit)..I said whoa! A giant balimbing! haha!

Juan, Mexico has a "wild papaya", Bonete (Spanish), Coahuayote (Naualt) K'uun che' (Maya), Jacaratia mexicana. Could this be it?
Very interesting! Looks like Carambola (Starfruit).. but tastes like a papaya!
it's similar in shape, but this fruit is huge, it comes from a tall tree (more than 10 meters) and is not juicy-acid like Star fruit, instead, it taste more or less like papaya
