Field Notes

Description:

This group of squids exhibited wonderful light reflection and coordinated movements. Curious but cautious, they swim closed to cameras!

Habitat:

Squid are good swimmers in all the oceans.

Notes:

Both squid and other existing groups (octopuses, cuttlefish, nautilus, etc) and extinct (ammonites) are mollusca, cephalopods class.
