I'm going with the Small ranunculus (Mamestra dysodea). My girlfriend and I both agree with that suggestion. Thank you.
Amazing shot, especially the glowing eye! Not sure about the ID - try a search for either Dark arches (Apamea monoglypha) or Small ranunculus (Mamestra dysodea).
