Different monitors and settings can present very different outcomes. I have both of mine calibrated for print, which may be a bit brighter. This particular picture, especially, could present very differently on a "bluer" monitor vs. a "redder" monitor, given the slight differences of blues of which we speak. And again, I didn't get a lot of light on the subject, to begin with.
Maybe you should go into my pictures and tell me if they look abnormal.
The Blue is very bright and overpowering. The bird is just a shadow. You can tell the bird is blue on yours?
Of course, it is not a great shot, to begin with... shooting into the light, and all...
Alice, are you sure your monitor's brightness is turned up? It looks fine on my system. Much more and it would look a bit unnatural.
Sorry it is just a shadow, because when I lightened it, it is quite beautiful.
