Description:
Please help me identify this unknown species of damselfly. These individuals are females, ovipositing eggs on vegetation. My best guess is these are Eastern Forktail damselflies (Ischnura verticalis).
Habitat:
Huntley Meadows Park, a 1,425 acre wetland area in Fairfax County, Virginia USA. Related Resource: http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/parks/huntley/
