I always spot it in my garden (Kuwait)
Thanks! I still never think of wiki as a first check for things like this :) But that site is sure getting better every time I check for something :) It always bewilders me that there is so little to be found about the wildlife and plants in this place. Online at least. There are a few books, but finding & getting them here is another hurdle.
If it would be spotted in western europe I would say it's a Vagrant Darter (Sympetrum vulgatum, ), but I'm not sure for Kuwait. This wikipedia page might help out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragonflies
