Description:

Habitat:

Caño Palma, Barra del Colorado Wildlife Refuge

Notes:

We see up to 39 caiman on the 4 mile stretch of canal we survey, peaking after breeding, with over 60% juveniles.
At the moment we're finding them in the forest, as the rainy season gets under way and more amphibians are courting.
