Description:

Cynandra opis, the Brilliant Nymph, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family.

Habitat:

The habitat consists of dense forests. I saw this one on a small path through pre-montaine tropical forest.
Last photo shows the habitat -This little stream was quite near where I saw it.
