Feral Pigeon

Columba livia

Comments (1)

This is Columba livia which has two forms, the original wild form, called Rock Dove or Rock Pigeon, which is extremely rare and only found on isolated coasts of North-west Europe, and the domesticated (up to 6,000 years ago) form which have escaped back into the wild and formed large feral flocks throughout the world and of which this is almost certainly an example.
