TIUQUE (Milvago chimango)‏ - a bird of prey sitting on a Lusitano stallion who was having a rest in the warm winter sun in Pirque in Chile ....

Habitat:

Lives in Chile between the Atacama and Concepcion also in bordering Countries like Argentina.

Marta, I have no idea, to be honest, but I was told, that in summer a lot of different birds interact with the stallions here, but normally not bird of prey.
Such an interesting inter-species interaction..I wonder if they are buddies and they hang with each other more than just this time :-)
Now, that's an interesting fellow. Hope someone can help you with the ID! Chile is totally out of my area :D
