Field Notes
Description:
Windy day and the butterflies prefer the tender foliage of the pipevine for laying their eggs. It is quite a feat to do this on a windy day. The other picture is an unsuccessful attempt
Habitat:
During the day, their habitat seems to be my garden.
Notes:
There are new pipevine flowers and I am watching to see how long they last as recently eggs have been laid on them.
