Again I wanted you to see another stage of Palm Inflorescense. This is after the blooms have fallen and they are just beginning to grow the nuts.

Habitat:

Tropical or semi-tropical areas that do not have a hard freeze.

Phoenix canariensis

Alice, I think the species is canariensis on this one although I seem to remember that they planted some fancy cultivar of Phoenix in downtown Venice.
