Description:
Largnd ciclee dragonfly with characteristic behavior for this species, that being perching on the top of an aquatic plant and circling the area only to return to it's chosen perch.
Habitat:
Ponds, lakes and streams
Notes:
This individual is a male as shown by the black and white color pattern on the wings. The female lacks the white wing markings.
