small drab minnow about 1 1/2 inches long

spottted in pool where fresh and brackish water meet

Yes it was very good. There were several like this. Unfortunately the light was mottled through the trees and the water a bit murky so I did't getthe best pictures. The little male with the yellow head also had a flashing blue tail.
