Calliteara sp.?

Habitat:

Spotted in a large semi-urban yard/garden next to a remnant patch of (disturbed) forest.

Notes:

Very fast moving so hard to focus.

Thanks Longmustache, I think you may have the genus. I could not find pseudabietis on the Papua list but there were 14 other species to check!
