Field Notes

Description:

White underside and most of their head. Blue-grey back with black stripes and tipped wings. Around the legs, they have a rusty color. I think male cause it has more of a defined black line from the eye and a black stripe on the top of the head.

Habitat:

Woods that mostly has oak and birch.

Notes:

These are probably my favorite birds. They make the cutest little noises and watching them crawl up and down the trees was fascinating. Caught this one just vibing on a tree in a spot of sun.
