Their steps are made to walk on floating Water lily or Lotus leafs..!! They are wide spread to avoid sink into water...Nature's great creation..!!
They're hilarious!! I'm just surprised they're not webbed! :)
Aren't their huge feet funny?
It seems to be Eurasian, but because it was found at a zoo, there's no telling for certain what subspecies it is. I did add the urban biodiversity mission though, thanks for the suggestion!! :D
There are many subspecies of the Common Morhen. If you check out the link perhaps you can determine.
Moorhen... Must be in Urban bio diversity habitat...!!
