Field Notes

Description:

Resting on Ipomoea aquatica (kangkung/water spinach).

Habitat:

Disturbed freshwater swamp (formerly swamp forest) in thin coastal band between ocean and village.

Notes:

Looks very much like on-line images of Neurothemis fluctuans but I am assured by a Papua Odonata authority that it is Neurothemis stigmatizans.
