Some sort of small plant on the edge of a lawn. Small, bulbous leaves, and a sturdy stalk.

I think you're right - it's definitely from the Mustard family, but I don't think it's Shepherd's purse. Thanks!
Hmm, now that I look at the other pictures, are the seed pods shaped like an upside down heart? If not, it's not Shepherd's purse, but still looks to be at least Mustard family (Brassicaceae).
