Field Notes

Description:

I noticed this cluster of just hatched spiders (not sure what species) as I was walking past my mother's door one summer afternoon. I had my camera with me, and immediately composed a shot. The tiny creatures were all huddles into a ball, but as I was setting up the frame, my breath reached them, and just as I was about to hit the release button, they all scattered in all directions. A split second later the mirror of the camera flipped and the little things were immortalized :)
