Field Notes

Description:

Two-tone golden delta winged jet about 22mm along any side. Very stylish.

Habitat:

Nature reserve adjoining national park.

Notes:

Common name 'Golden grass carpet' and 'Ochre geometrid'. This is the golden form (female) but they can be grey, brown, tan and almost black. Larvae feed on Hibbertis species (Guinea-flower) a clambering ground cover. <br>
