Recently emerged adult...
I often see the old exoskeletons but have never seen the adult noise makers.

Backyard deck under oaks

It was just luck to find it newly emerged and unable to fly.

Oh fabulous!! What a great moment to capture. I don't think I've actually ever seen a cicada... just heard them! Those wings are quite something, and I love the shot of his face haha!
