I know you can change them between pink and blue based on the alkali in the soil. How in the world did you get that wonderful purple shade? Btw my neighbor down the road has the most stunningly blue hydrangeas. I'll have to get a picture of those posted. They are bluer than blue. I now judge all shades of blue by those flowers. And blue is already I favorite color. It's not fair!
