Field Notes

Description:

A female Eastern Bluebird feeds her offspring. A female House Finch feeds in the background. The second picture shows the juvenile's beautiful color. Any help in identifying the sex of the juvenile would be great!

Habitat:

My suburban backyard (it is relatively heavily wooded)

Notes:

I have one pair of bluebirds that feed at my feeder and just yesterday saw the juvenile for the first time. It can go in the platform feeder but has trouble with the other ones.
