Field Notes

Description:

Small hawk type birds the size of parrots.

Habitat:

The small pair has been handing around the edge of a pine forest and hunting in a meadow, today I found them on top of a light in a parking lot. Very small birds the size of small parrots. I could not get close to them, they flew away.

No, I did not know they were such hunters, Mitch! They are so small!
don't let the size fool you, these little guys are stone-cold killers. I've seen one take down a Meadowlark, and a buddy of mine saw one take a Mockingbird.
