Mirla patinaranja

La Mirla Común es una de las aves más comunes en los climas fríos, donde se destaca por su tamaño, por su plumaje de color oscuro y por sus patas y pico anaranjados. Esta especie, nativa de los Andes, es la más grande entre todas las mirlas que habitan en Colombia. Es fuerte, despierta y territorial; y además, muy adaptable, ya que se la puede encontrar tanto en ambientes silvestres, por ejemplo bosques nativos y páramos, como en los sitios más intervenidos, entre ellos las zonas arboladas, techos y antenas de los edificios de la ciudad.
