Description:

Small white lily with yellow center, grows after snows recede in the spring

Habitat:

Higher elevations on exposed banks

Notes:

We were disappointed not to find any on this trip... until my husband suddenly pulled over realizing we'd passed by hundreds. Pictures taken by aiming camera up at the flower that is on a 6 inch or shorter stalk

Amazed that we didn't see them! These were fairly low elevation-wise. We had gotten out where we found them last year and I think we were a couple weeks too early
