Description:
Compact white body with a pair of eyes in the middle of the cephalothorax and 8 long legs.
Habitat:
Spotted during a morning walk at Kebun Raya Cibodas, a 80ha area above 1.400 metres high, mix of botanical park with big trees & palms and surrounded by rainforest at the foot of Gene volcano, Java - Indonesia.
Representatives of each extant suborder can be found on all continents except Antarctica.
Notes:
Pseudosystenocentrus foveolatus is a species of harvestmen in a monotypic genus in the family Sclerosomatidae, an order of arachnids colloquially known as harvestmen, harvesters or daddy longlegs.
As of April 2017, over 6,650 species of harvestmen have been discovered worldwide.
