Field Notes

Description:

Medium sized flying insect with several yellowish stripes down it's abdomen (3? 4?), long thin wings straight down abdomen when in repose. Fuzz appears at sides and tufts below the head.

Habitat:

Spotted on an Althea Rose bush in west central ga. Appear to be pollinators
