Description:

Brown speckled seagull with thin orange legs.

Habitat:

Spotted at Mission Beach in California.

Notes:

One of these birds was playing with a can after I took a picture. I scared him away so it wouldn't hurt itself but I'm surprised there's so much litter on this beach! Time for another day of community service clean up!

looks very similar to the western gull except for the speckles head the second one is a juvenile
