Description:

brown with cream stripes round shape fungi growing on humus rich topsoil. seems like a brown flower.

Habitat:

broad leaf rain forest in the Gallon Jug area

Notes:

three were spotted, a single fungus on an area close to seasonal stream. the specimen in the foto were in a deeper forest interior, the older structure displaying its starlike shape and the a second individual at an earlier stage
